As a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and in accordance with the passage of Senate Bill 1 of the 134th General Assembly, the Ohio Department of Education has been granted the authority to issue a one-time, non-renewable 1 Year Temporary Non-Bachelor’s Substitute Teaching License for the 2021-2022 school year to applicants who do not hold a post-secondary degree but meet the employing school or district’s set of educational requirements. This 1 Year Temporary Non-Bachelor’s Substitute Teaching License is available at the request of the employing Ohio school or district and valid for teaching in any assigned class of any subject area and grade level.
